Special Meeting
June 26, 2007

1. The Special Meeting of the Saline Township Board was called to order by Supervisor James Marion on June 26, 2007 at 7:30pm at the Saline Town Hall, 5731 Braun Road, Saline, MI 48176.
   
   
2. Members present: Supervisor Marion, Clerk Baldus, Treasurer Gordon, Trustees Bohnett and R. Marion. Township Attorney Fred Lucas was present as well as 30 other citizens.
   
   
3. Mr. Bohnett led the Pledge of Allegiance.
   
   
4. Supervisor Marion briefly commented on the following topics:
   
   1. 1200 units on 400 acres.
   2. Consent Judgment would be based on the old Master Plan.
   3. Planning Commission is in the process of redoing and updating the Master Plan, but the new Plan is not established yet.
   4. Attorney Lucas has filed a motion to adjourn the trial. Both parties are in negotiations and are cooperating to achieve a Consent Judgment. Adjournment may allow 2 to 3 months of more negotiating by each party.
   5. Ruling on the motion of adjournment will not be determined until July 11, by Judge Morris.
   6. If ruling is denied on July 11, trial date is still set for July 27, 2007.
      
      
5. Attorney Lucas started the Consent Judgment discussion and proceeded to answer questions from the following citizens:

6. Motion by Mrs. Baldus, supported by Mr. Bohnett, to table the Consent Agreement decision until after July 11th ruling of the motion of adjournment by Judge Morris. Ayes: 3. Nays: 2. Motion carried.
   
   
7. Special Meeting has been set for July 11, 2007 at 7:30 pm at the Saline Township Hall.
   
   
8. The meeting adjourned at 9:01 pm.
