Settlement Day
March 23, 2007

1. The Settlement Day Meeting of the Saline Township Board was called to order by Supervisor James Marion on March 23, 2007 at 9:45am at the Saline Township Clerks office at 6104 Braun Road, Saline, MI 48176.
   
   
2. Members present: Supervisor Marion, Clerk Baldus, Treasurer Gordon, Trustees Bohnett; and R. Marion arrived at 10:30 a.m.
   
   
3. Mrs. Baldus moved, supported by Mr. Bohnett to pay bills as presented. Additional bills that need to be paid are to American Legion for memorial flags and CCJM regarding project Austin Commons escrow fund money. Ayes: 4. Nays: 0. Motion carried.
   
   
4. Mr. Bohnett moved, supported by Mrs. Gordon, to accept Bluewater as maintenance contractor for the Township Hall; as well as an increase to $21.00 per hour rate. Ayes: 4. Nays: 0. Motion carried.
   
   
5. Mrs. Gordon moved, supported by Mr. J Marion, to make adjustments and finalize 2006-2007 budgets for auditors. Ayes: 4. Nays: 0. Motion carried.
   
   
6. Mrs. Gordon moved, supported by Mr. Bohnett, to accept the lawn care service bid from Elite Yard Services with seven monthly payments of $500 for a 2 year period ending December 31, 2009. Ayes: 4. Nays: 0. Motion carried.
   
   
7. Group discussed and prepared the 2007-2008 proposed budgets. Mr. R. Marion moved, supported by Mr. Bohnett to approve the proposed budget for 2007-2008. Ayes: 5. Nays: 0. Motion carried.
   
   
8. Mrs. Baldus moved, supported by Mr. Bohnett, to table the discussion and hiring of Walworth & Nayh, P.C. CPA's for the current lawsuit from Biltmore LLC. Ayes: 5. Nays: 0. Motion carried.
   
   
9. Meeting adjourned at 10:54 am.
