  1. The Regular Meeting of the Saline Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Marion on September 14, 2009 at 7:30pm at the Saline Town Hall, 5731 Braun Road, Saline, MI 48176.

  2. Members present: Supervisor Marion, Clerk Marion, Treasurer Gordon, Trustees R. Prehn and R. Marion. Eight other citizens were present.

  3. Mr. Robert Prehn led the Pledge of Allegiance.

  4. Mr. Marion moved, supported by Mr. Prehn that the agenda be approved as presented.

  5. Mr. R. Marion moved, supported by Mrs. Gordon, that the consent agenda be approved as presented.
    1. Approve minutes from September 14th regular meeting.
    2. Receive Clerk's budget, Financial Report.
    3. Approve 3rd Quarter Payroll $16,091.99.
    4. Approve Accounts Payable in the amount of $4,466.67.

  6. Citizens were offered a chance to address the Board regarding items not already on the agenda. No citizen comments.

  7. Supervisor Marion commented on the following:
    1. Fred Lucas - Saline Ventures, LLC possibly going in front of Tax Tribunal, township and county trying to work them first.
    2. WCRC - Township moving forward with planned work for roads located within the township per September 14th meeting.
    3. State Police were unable to attend.

  8. State Police were unable to attend.

  9. Trustees Report - No report.

  10. Zoning/Building Administrator - No report.

  11. No Fireboard report.

  12. Township Hall Manager Reported - Working on grounds patching with tar where needed.

  13. Board Member Comments - Robert Marion commended that a wind tower may be put up in the township resident to go in front of Planning Commission with plans.

  14. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 pm.
