Saline Township Planning Commission
Regular Meeting, March 15, 2006

Members Present:
Richard Zahn, Neil Bohnett, Trudy Feldkamp, Keith Girbach, Laurie Leinbach, Chuck Rankin, Denny Zink

Members Absent:
None

Others Present:
Supervisor Marion, Alan Block, approximately 15 others

Meeting was called to order by Chairman Zahn at 7:37 pm.

Roll was taken; all members present; quorum established.

Pledge of Allegiance was led by Bohnett.

Approval of Minutes. Leinbach moved to accept the minutes of the February 15, 2006 Planning Commission meeting; Bohnett supported; vote taken; unanimous in favor; minutes approved.

Approval of Agenda. Bohnett moved to accept the agenda for the March 15, 2006 Planning Commission meeting; Zink supported; vote taken; unanimous in favor; agenda approved.

Announcements:
None.

Public Comments:
None.

New Business:

1. PDR Workshops.
   There are three workshops scheduled. It was suggested that these would prove helpful. Several Planning Commission members plan to attend, as well as some of the Board members.
   
   
2. County Citizen Planning Sessions.
   More helpful sessions. The Board will pay for some. There are several good sessions listed.
   
   
3. Items from the Board.
   1. Saline Greenway Alliance. Some items, mostly recreational, have been removed. There is a meeting on March 16. Leinbach will attend and will get a revised plan to the Board.
   2. County Road Commission attended the Board meeting. Listened to citizens comments/complaints.
   3. Bob Prehn reported on Boysville.
   4. Karl Girbach is retiring from the Road Commission. The Township Board will send a thank you for his years of service.
      
      

Old Business:

1. Supervisor Marion has been contacted by developers from February meeting. What is their status? Feldkamp and Rankin stated the process in place should be followed. There is a consensus to follow the Master Plan.
   
   
2. Biltmore. On hold at the moment.

Zink moved for adjournment; Leinbach support; meeting adjourned, 8:05 p.m. The next regular meeting will be on April 12, 2006, at 7:30 p.m. at the Township hall.
